October 14, 2021 - Further to my correspondence dated May 19, 2021, please be advised that your negotiating committee comprised of Tamara Giesbrecht, Kevin Materi, Tyler Flaman, Curt Miller, Terry Harris, Pablo Godoy (Regional Director, UFCW Canada), Lily Olson (National Representative, UFCW Canada) and myself met with your employer on October 4, 5, 12 and 13, 2021 as scheduled.
Extensive discussions were held on outstanding issues and some progress was made on matters relating to language within the collective agreement. As we continue to work through these complex issues, your bargaining committee appreciates your solidarity and support.
We meet with the company again on November 8 and 9, 2021, with more dates set for January 2022.
